Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Pixxy, a Shopify app that generates product imagery. Installing the app means you accept them.
The service
Pixxy generates images and video from product photographs in your Shopify store using third-party AI models, and publishes the results you approve back to your store. Generated media is machine-produced and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing every image before publishing it.
Your content and your rights
You keep all rights in the product photographs you supply. You grant Pixxy only the permission needed to process them and produce the results you request.
Subject to payment, you own the generated images and may use them commercially, including on your storefront, marketplaces and advertising. Note that generated media carries an invisible SynthID watermark identifying it as AI-generated.
You confirm that you hold the rights to the photographs you supply and that generating from them infringes nobody else’s rights.
Acceptable use
You may not use Pixxy to generate imagery that is unlawful, that depicts an identifiable real person without their permission, that imitates another brand’s protected marks or imagery, or that misrepresents what a product actually is. The app declines prompts that request a real or famous person, and attempts to work around that are a breach of these terms.
Plans, credits and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance, which resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over. Credits are consumed when a generation is requested, including generations that produce a result you choose not to publish.
Credits spent on a generation that fails for a reason on our side are returned automatically. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.
You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your Shopify admin. Cancelling stops future charges; charges already made are not refunded on a pro-rata basis unless required by law.
Availability
Pixxy depends on Shopify’s APIs and on third-party model providers, and is provided on an “as available” basis without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Generation may be queued, rate-limited or temporarily unavailable.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixxy is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or lost profits.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app; data is then handled as described in the privacy policy.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date above, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
